Coming Home

July 05, 2011 | Colonel Thomas Palmatier

"The Volunteers," the rock band of The U.S. Army Field Band visited the hometown of their vocalist, SFC April Boucher.  It was April's first time performing back home and the local media really turned out to cover their show.

April's daughters love watching their rock star Mom but at least in this photo seem a lot more interested in popcorn.

On to Ashville, OH, home of the world's oldest traffic light.

SFC Tom Lindsey and SFC Pete Krasulski are groovin.'

The Field Band's motto is "Soldiers Representing Soldiers" and The Volunteers were proud to represent PFC Jacob Fout.

Soon to come --- photos from Boston's 4th of July spectacular with The U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus and the Boston Pops, as well as great performances at Fenway Park!  Don't want to wait?  Someone posted a video on YouTube -- click here.
