Sorry it's been so long since I've last updated. It's been busy here at West Point. yesterday we received 6 week grades (kicking butts and taking names, thanks for asking). I also made the Army Debate Team, so that has been consuming a lot of my time. At our first tournament ever, 2 weeks ago, my partner and I won the entire debate in the novice division. We argued ten debates-- about 2.5 hours each-- over the course of 3 days. It was tiring and a lot of fun! We have another tournament this weekend. As a CDT CPL, I am a team leader with one plebe under my watchful gaze. He's a good plebe thus far...a bit of a jokester, but he knows the line between being humorous and being improfessional. I want to make the most of our training time by tailoring it what he wasnts/ needs to know, so this week we will be discussing the major selection process and resources for investigating majors. On that note, I officially declared myself a double major at the beginning of the month. I am a Comparative Politics and International Law double major. Next math we pick our engineering sequences, and I plan on selecting electrical engineering. Well, I have to go to debate practice and then choir and then do homwork. Day like today, after beginning the day with uniform inspection before the sun, are days I thank G-d for coffee.
